Following the success of the hardback book, a new and revised paperback edition of The Man who Broke the Bank at Monte Carlo has now been scheduled for release on 3rd August 2023.
Based on extensive new research carried out since the first edition, the new paperback will include recently discovered material about Charles Wells’ life as a gambler, confidence trickster and fraudster. The book includes a new section with a step-by-step account of his actions prior to winning the equivalent of £6 million at the Monte Carlo Casino in the early 1890s.
